Wow, this was really inappropriate. Spamming people's journals to advertise your community is rude and obnoxious enough, but spamming a dead person's journal just really crossed a line. If you want to promote your community, why can't you do the polite thing and post to [info]community_promo or [info]communitypromo like you're supposed to do. Spamming journals to advertise your community is against the LJ TOS for the obvious reason that it's obnoxious. You should be smart enough to know that people don't want strangers clogging their journals with community promos and that spamming a dead guy's journal just makes you look like a completely inconsiderate fool.
